Acquisition in Italy as part of our European expansion, new enterprise clients, new publishers in our catalog, recruitment to surpass the 100-employee mark… the past year has been full of daily challenges for all Edflex teams. Thanks to everyone’s dedication, we’ve achieved significant milestones!

Let’s take a look back at these 12 months of achievements. 👇

First quarter: new image, new positioning!

The year began with the Learning Technologies Paris event in January, where we unveiled our revamped visual identity. New colors, a new logo, a new website – these changes have helped us better embody our vision, which has been clear since our inception: to simplify the path to the right learning content.

At the same time, the first quarter also marked the release of a new edition of our annual barometer on learning practices and trends. One key takeaway? The results highlighted employees’ need for more support, with many hoping to be granted more time for learning and better guidance from their learning departments to upskill effectively.

This aligns perfectly with Edflex’s mission, and our clients often say we act as an extension of their learning departments!

Second quarter: acquisition in Italy and new major customer accounts

This year, we focused on entering new European markets to strengthen our leadership in content aggregation and curation.

At the start of Q2, we acquired OfCourseMe, the leading e-learning provider in Italy. This was arguably our most memorable milestone of the year. As a result, 17 team members joined Edflex, along with high-profile clients such as Bulgari, Ferragamo, and Unicredit.

As a surprise to our employees, we announced this acquisition during our summit in Nantes in April, before it was covered by media outlets like such as Les Echos or Maddyness.

Acquisition of course me

On top of this acquisition, our teams’ unwavering motivation brought in numerous new clients across industries throughout the year, including France Travail, UCANSS, Orange, KPMG, Cerba Healthcare, PwC, Business France, Groupama, EDF, Arkea, and more.

The quarter also saw a landmark partnership with EDF to train their entire workforce over several years using Edflex. This was Europe’s largest professional online learning tender of 2024 and a significant achievement for our team.

Moreover, we surpassed 1.5 million users on our platform across 50+ countries. It’s immensely rewarding to see our platform being used worldwide to foster skill development.

And if our engagement and usage rates keep steadily increasing, it's because we prioritize the human element. Every day, our teams meet with clients and users to continuously enhance the Edflex experience.

Third quarter: London, Île de Ré, Paris... Edflex is everywhere!

The summer period was marked by the opening of our UK office to expand our reach across the Channel and better serve our clients with high-quality English-language content. Publishers like iHasco, Packt, Mind Tools, iAM Learning, and Assemble You joined our catalog during this time.

To boost team motivation, we organized a two-day seminar on Île de Ré with employees from France, Italy, and the UK. The agenda included sharing our vision, workshops on AI integration in daily work, and teambuilding activities (naturally, involving bicycles!).

September was packed with events:

  • L&D Next by 360Learning
  • REF 2024
  • Inventive Learning Futures
  • Digital Learning Kickoff by Edflex (with over 1,300 registrants!)

We also recorded new episodes of the Learning Club by Clément Meslin podcast, which offers insights into cutting-edge corporate learning strategies.

Behind the scenes, our teams were busy migrating OfCourseMe’s product and clients to the Edflex platform – a crucial step in integrating this acquisition.

Fourth quarter: Client Summit, Open Education Night, contract renewals and new customers... Edflex on all fronts!

The last quarter of the year was filled with emotion and excitement, ending 2024 on a high note.

Our first “Client Summit” in Dinard

Our first Client Summit in Dinard brought together 40 learning leaders at the Hôtel Barrière for two days of exclusive product previews, idea-sharing, and high-quality networking, with our partner Aptilink.

We'll do it again next year, so if you are a customer and you are reading us, quickly contact your contact point at Edflex so they can reserve a place for you!

The event of the year: Open Education Night

As every year since our creation, The Open Education Night was the apotheosis of the end of the year, bringing together +300 enthusiasts around inspiring round tables to discuss the future of learning during an exceptional evening in Paris.

In this Olympic year, we even had the honor of having an exceptional moment at the beginning with the testimony of Marie-José Pérec who had lit the Olympic cauldron in Paris a few weeks earlier.

Open Education Night

During the evening, we unveiled the inaugural Learning Impact Organization ranking, created with Julhiet Sterwen, recognizing companies making a significant social, environmental, or organizational impact through learning. Topping the list were L’Oréal, EDF, and Renault.

L&D for Good, a movement that is being structured

The L&D for Good movement is also continuing to make progress in reducing existing inequalities in terms of skills development. Many companies have joined the movement as a “founding member” with the desire to advance this social and societal issue. Great things are yet to be built and we plan to work on them as early as 2025.

More than 90% of our customers renew their trust

Beyond this presence in the field during various events, all of our teams were on the front line to renew our customers (+ than 90% renew their trust in Edflex for 2025) and continue to develop Edflex's presence in the world of learning  (dozens of new customers in France, Europe and even internationally with 2 new Canadian customers).

A common thread in 2024: the development of a unique product on its market

Throughout 2024, we continued enhancing our solution with new features, connectors, and exclusive content.

A richer, more international catalog with new formats

If you follow us, you know the heart of Edflex is the content!

So, in addition to the open source content that we continue to select to offer the best of the Internet on many subjects that need freshness (example: news in the AI sector), our solution has been enriched by 25 renowned publishers (Microsoft, Abilways, Intellezy Assemble You, Intellezy Assemble You, iHasco, Change the work...) accessible directly on Edflex to offer the best of learning in the same place, in more than 15 formats.

These new editors allowed us to continue to improve our language coverage, with now more than 25 languages available on Edflex. And they allow us to deploy major projects thanks to our ability to aggregate global but also local content providers, to address different markets.

In parallel, this year we continued to develop and strengthen our quality standards in terms of selection with the OPAD methodology, which allows us to carry out quality curation thanks to 20 criteria and to now cover 230 themes, from acculturation to specialization. The objective: to meet almost 100% of a company's learning needs with a single solution.

A focus on ultra-personalization

From the beginning of 2024, we have focused on the development of personalization of courses of learning by rethinking the learning experience so that each user can consume unique content from the catalog or follow a certification course composed of different modules assembled with an educational logic.

In the summer, we also developed a “Mylearning” feature, which allows each learner to easily find quality content and receive personalized recommendations to its unique needs.

Finally, we worked on an AI that is now unique on the market: Edflex Assistant. This assistant provides support to learning teams by selecting precisely adapted content and by optimizing the workload of the L&D teams. You request content or a skill to be developed from Edflex Assistant, it selects the 3 most relevant contents from our database for you!

Integrations in all tools

Finally, nothing would be possible without integrations designed to simplify the path to employee learning. Our solution is consumed independently but also in the vast majority of tools already in place (LXP, LMS, SIRH...).

Our connector allows users quick access to the best content offered by Edflex. In addition to our historical partners (360Learning, Syfadis, Rise up, Rise up, Talensoft, Degreed, Bealink...), new players can now be interconnected with Edflex: Cornerstone, Beedeez, SAP, SAP, Workday, Oracle... and we will continue to improve the experience in the months and years to come.

An RGAA score above the industry average

Finally, to finish a significant element of our year 2024: accessibility being one of our priorities, we improved our RGAA score to reach 62.71% in 2024. This allows us to be above our competitors on the market and to make Edflex a reference for people with disabilities who want to learn online.

Our will for 2025

As we celebrate these achievements, we’re already gearing up for the future. With 100 passionate employees, our ambition for 2025 is clear: to make learning even more accessible, impactful, and innovative. We aim to strengthen our leadership in Europe, accelerate international expansion, and support more organizations in their transformation and learning goals.

Stay tuned – 2025 promises to be an exciting year!
